Shelter

Shelter is more than putting a roof over their head, it’s giving your child somewhere they know they’re safe. Making sure they’ve got a warm bed to fall into, food in their belly, and a space to just be themselves without fear or pretending.

Some days the world will overwhelm them, but with love, you can build a place for them that they can come back to, where they’re always welcome. A place to laugh, cry, mess up, and still belong. Being their shelter is standing between them and the worst of it, and giving them a soft place to rest, no matter what waits outside the door.

When things feel rough and we wish we had a safe place to hide too, we find it right there, in their laughter, their trust, and the love they give back when we need it the most.
